STMicroelectronics has been recognized as a global leader in corporate sustainability, earning an 'A-' (A-minus) in climate change response and an 'A-' (A-) in water management from CDP, a non-profit environmental disclosure platform.

Of the 2,025 companies evaluated globally, the A List for Water Management is comprised of the top 10% of companies participating in CDP's water program, based on their consistent water management reporting over the previous year. ST is one of only three global semiconductor manufacturers to make the A List. ST also received an A- rating for climate change response, placing it among the 22% who received the highest score. CDP recognized ST's Leadership Level performance based on the company's comprehensive approach to climate change management, extending this to its supply chain ecosystem.

“Semiconductor manufacturing processes require large quantities of extremely pure water,” said Carlo Bozotti, Chairman and CEO of ST. “Since 1994, ST has made addressing water shortages and wastewater treatment a core strategy.
