VMware announced its global results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2018.

VMware's total revenue for the third quarter of 2018 was $1.98 billion, up 11% from the same period last year. Operating profit was $465 million and net profit was $443 million, up 22% and 43%, respectively, from the same period last year.

"We were able to achieve meaningful results because VMware continued to build a strong portfolio and acted as a partner in creating business opportunities for our customers."
