LG Electronics' PuriCare 360° air purifier has been recognized for its eco-friendly competitiveness.

The LG PuriCare 360° air purifier recently received simultaneous certifications for "Carbon Measured" and "Carbon Reducing" from the UK non-profit organization Carbon Trust, marking an industry first. LG Electronics is the first company in the air purifier sector to acquire both "Carbon Footprint" certifications.

The 'Carbon Trust' grants 'Carbon Footprint' certification by comprehensively evaluating the environmental impact of carbon dioxide emissions generated throughout the entire process, from product materials to production, distribution, use, and disposal. It grants 'Carbon Emissions' certification to products whose total carbon emissions meet eco-friendly standards, and 'Carbon Reduction' certification to products that have significantly reduced carbon emissions compared to existing levels. Both certifications follow strict international audit standards, such as the 'Standard for Carbon Emission Calculation (PAS 2050)'.

With this certification, the LG PuriCare 360° air purifier has been recognized as a product that is managed in an eco-friendly manner from production to disposal after actual use.

The eco-friendly competitiveness of the LG PuriCare 360° air purifier lies in the significant improvement in energy efficiency through the smart inverter motor and clean booster.

The high-efficiency smart inverter motor independently developed by LG Electronics features excellent durability with a 10-year warranty and is twice as energy-efficient as a fixed-speed motor.

In addition, the Clean Booster located at the top of the product sends purified air up to 7.5 meters, purifying larger spaces more quickly and efficiently. According to internal test results, the PuriCare 360° air purifier equipped with the Clean Booster removes fine dust 24% faster than products without it.
