Artisan Announces Server Power Supply for Storage Infrastructure
Published2017.12.08 10:43Artesyn Embedded Technologies announced a new 800-watt server power supply that complies with Intel CRPS (Common Redundant Power Supply) specifications, designed for computing, networking, and storage infrastructure in enterprise IT, cloud, and hyperscale environments.
The CSU800AP is a product housed in a 1U case measuring only 2.89 x 7.28 inches (73.5 x 185.0 mm), which significantly reduces the footprint compared to previous generation power supplies of a similar class by employing the latest power switching technology and high-density device integration techniques.
This power supply supports a wide input range of 90-264 Vac and active power factor correction, and is certified to an 80 Plus Platinum efficiency of up to 94%. It also features enhanced total harmonics (iTHD) under light loads.
The CSU800AP generates a base output of 12 Vdc for downstream DC-DC converter supply in systems using distributed power architecture. The 12 Vdc standby output rated at 3 A can be used for power management or supervision circuits. The CSU800AP's basic DC output can supply up to 66.7 A and the maximum pulse output up to 93.3 A, and cost-effectiveness is maximized because no additional components are required when connecting multiple power supplies in parallel for high-current applications.
The CSU800AP power supply is hot-pluggable and compatible with Artesyn Embedded Technologies' universal PMBus graphical user interface, allowing for control via an integrated I2C interface using the industry-standard PMBus communication protocol.

아티슨 임베디드 테크놀로지가 최신 포트폴리오 제품으로 SIL4 인증 설계된 철도 안전 애플리케이션용 COTS 컴퓨팅 시스템 ControlSafe™ Carborne Platform (컨트롤 세이프 카본 플랫폼)을 선보였다. 새로운 플랫폼은 자동열차방호장치(ATP), 자동열차운전장치(ATO), 능동형열차제어장치(PTC) 같은 차상 애플리케이션용으로 설계되었으며, 선로변 열차 제어 및 열차 신호 운영 용도로도 활용이 가능하다. 아티슨의 컨트롤 세이프 카본 플랫폼은 철도 시스템 통합 서비스 업체와 철도 애플리케이션 사업자를 위해 비용 효율적이고도 고도로 통합된 솔루션을 제공할 수 있게 한다. 포트폴리오 제품 중 먼저 공개된 2개의 플랫폼은 이미 SIL4 인증을 획득했으며, ControlSafe Carborne Platform은 2017년 3분기 경에 인증 획득 절차를 완료할 예정이다.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. The plan is to consistently manage access permissions in an environment where AI agents are increasing as work execution entities, while applying the principle of least privilege and automated policy enforcement. The two companies plan to jointly expand capabilities to manage the identities of various entities, including AI agents, within a single layer in the AWS environment. This collaboration is interpreted as a move to design security and governance together in corporate environments where AI adoption is expanding.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.

Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. CoolIT has been supplying direct-to-chip cooling-based coolant distribution units, cold plates, and manifolds, serving hyperscale data centers and colocation operators as customers. This acquisition is a measure to address the high-heat and high-density server environments created by AI proliferation. Ecolab plans to combine its water management and digital monitoring capabilities with CoolIT's hardware technology to expand its data center cooling business.
