LG Uplus announced that it has launched an 'IoT thermostat' together with global brand Honeywell.

The IoT thermostat is a Honeywell thermostat linked to the LG U+ home IoT app, 'IoT@home'. As long as the household's Wi-Fi is connected, users can monitor and control the indoor temperature 24 hours a day, anywhere, anytime, with their smartphone, regardless of their telecommunications carrier.

Users can conveniently use the IoT@home app to control the heating status of each room, such as ▲turning it on or off, ▲setting the desired temperature, ▲scheduling by day of the week and time zone, ▲setting simultaneous execution by situation, etc., so that they can use it conveniently when going out, coming home, or going to bed.

Additionally, the Honeywell thermostat and IoT humidifier can be set to operate simultaneously, helping maintain appropriate indoor temperature and humidity during the winter.

In addition, it can help prevent unnecessary energy waste by providing usage warning notifications when users have left the heating on for long periods of time and providing detailed heating cost usage history patterns by time zone, day, and month in tables and graphs.

The Honeywell Smart Wi-Fi thermostat model that is compatible with IoT@home is DT300W, and it can control not only the living room temperature but also each room temperature. For users who are currently using a Honeywell thermostat, IoT functions can be utilized simply by replacing the living room thermostat.
