Pre-orders for the new 'LG Gram' that is convenient and lasts longer

LG Electronics is holding pre-orders for the 'LG Gram' until the end of this month at flagship LG Best Shop stores nationwide and online shopping malls. All customers who purchase the 'LG Gram' during this period will receive a free 256GB SSD (Solid State Drive). Additionally, a coupon for a free additional SSD installation service at LG Best Shop service centers nationwide will be provided.
LG Electronics has incorporated a slot on the 'LG Gram' that allows for the attachment of an additional SSD. Users can add an SSD to the 'LG Gram' if they run out of space to store files, photos, and more. Internal market research revealed that insufficient storage capacity is the primary reason consumers hesitate to purchase ultra-lightweight laptops. Accordingly, the company has included this additional slot.
This product also boasts excellent durability. The 'LG Gram' has passed seven items of the U.S. Department of Defense reliability test (MIL-STD; Military Standard), also known as 'military spec.' This marks the first time the 'LG Gram' has passed military specs. The items include shock, dust, high temperature, low temperature, vibration, salt spray, and low pressure.
Performance is also more powerful. This product is equipped with an Intel 8th generation quad-core CPU. Performance has improved by 40% compared to the previous model. Processing speed for graphics tasks, such as video editing, has increased by 9%. The speed at which the internet browser opens has also increased by 20%.
The 'LG Gram' features the latest DDR4 memory, which is 13% faster than previous models. LG Electronics has also included expansion slots so that users can add memory as needed. Fast processing speed is crucial for memory because it frequently saves and erases data.
The 'LG Gram' features a battery capacity of 72 watt-hours (Wh), a 20% increase from last year. Based on the 13.3-inch model, it can be used for up to 31 hours (according to internal measurements). Video playback time also reaches up to 23 hours and 30 minutes. Users do not need to carry a charger around for fear of the battery running out.
Despite the increased battery capacity, the weight of the 'LG Gram' remains similar to the previous model. The 13.3-inch model weighs 965g, an increase of only 25g; the 14-inch model weighs 995g, also an increase of 25g; and the 15.6-inch model weighs 1,095g, an increase of only 5g.
The power button is equipped with a fingerprint recognition function. When the user presses the power button, it simultaneously recognizes the fingerprint and completes the login in a single step. Once the user registers their fingerprint just once, they do not have to go through the hassle of entering a login password every time they turn on the PC.
It also rapidly charges mobile phones. When a user connects the 'LG Gram' and a mobile phone via a USB Type-C port, the phone can be charged quickly, just like when using a fast charger. The battery capacity of the 'LG Gram' is sufficient to charge the latest smartphone, the 'LG V30', about five times. Users do not even need to carry a mobile phone charger.
An ultra-lightweight gaming laptop equipped with an NVIDIA GPU was also unveiled.
LG Electronics is also introducing a new high-performance Ultra PC with a thickness of just 19.9mm and is accepting pre-orders until the end of this month. Despite its thin profile, the 'LG UltraPC GT (model name: 15U780)' features the NVIDIA-developed GTX-1050 graphics card. This product is also lightweight, weighing 1.9kg.
LG Electronics is giving away an 'Intel Gaming SW Value Pack' worth approximately 380,000 won to customers who purchase this product during the pre-order period. The Value Pack consists of six popular games, photo editing software, video editing software, and more.
The shipping price of the 'LG Gram' ranges from 1.45 million won to 2.2 million won depending on the specifications, and the 'LG UltraPC GT' ranges from 1.81 million won to 2.12 million won.
Son Dae-gi, Head of HE Marketing at LG Electronics Korea Sales Headquarters, emphasized, “We will once again create a sensation in the market with the further evolved ‘LG Gram’.”
