ST Acquires Atollic to Build Integrated Development Environment for Arm-Core-Based MCUs
Published2017.12.19 09:39STMicroelectronics has acquired software development tools specialist Atollic, provider of the highly regarded TrueSTUDIO Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that targets the embedded development community centered around Arm Cortex-M microcontrollers such as ST’s STM32 family of 32-bit microcontrollers.
ST expects that adding TrueStudio to its application development will further enhance its products.
TrueStudio is a leading open source Eclipse-based IDE platform and has already supported the STM32 family of Cortex-M based MCUs. With this acquisition, ST will further develop TrueStudio’s rich set of advanced features and offer them as a fully integrated software solution through the STM32 ecosystem.

ST, 전력 밀도 향상 시키는 단상 MOSFET 풀 브리지 통합한 SiP 출시
ST마이크로일렉트로닉스가 완벽한 600V/8A 단상 MOSFET 풀 브리지를 통합한 13 x 11mm 크기의 PWD13F60 SiP(System-in-Package)를 출시했다. 이 디바이스는 산업용 모터 드라이브, 램프 안정기, 전원공급장치, 컨버터, 인버터의 보드 공간을 줄이고 재료비를 절감해준다. ST Enables Shake-Free Photo Shooting with 2-Axis MEMS Gyroscope
STMicroelectronics has launched the new compact dual-axis MEMS gyroscope L20G20IS. Leveraging this device's smaller size and higher performance enables space allocation for new handset features. The L20G20IS, the latest solution in ST's highly integrated OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) device portfolio, measures just 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.7mm, securing an additional 1.29mm² of board space compared to the previous L2G2IS at 2.3 x 2.3mm, allowing for reduced camera module size and simplified circuit design. Additionally, it implements an outstanding suppression ratio of 6dB, enabling superior optical correction that prevents camera shake during smartphone photography.
