Element14 introduces the Fluke T6-600 and T6-1000 electrical testers, featuring new non-contact voltage detection technology for fast, safe, and reliable voltage measurements.

FieldSense technology, featured in the T6-600 and T6-1000, replaces the conventional contact-type test probe with an open-fork design, enabling voltage detection simply by passing the fork near the conductor. This allows voltages up to 1,000 VAC to be measured without connecting test leads.

This technology enables simultaneous voltage and current measurement, enabling true RMS measurements. It also allows measurements in situations such as crowded junction boxes or conductors with inaccessible terminal points. It also saves time by eliminating the need to remove covers and wire nuts. The ability to measure with one hand also significantly reduces the risk of electric shock.

FieldSense technology is also featured in the Fluke PRV240FS multimeter, also sold by element14. This device provides a fast, safe, and reliable way to verify that an electrical tester is functioning properly before actual testing, without any electrical contact. Its greatest advantage is that it allows for non-contact measurements, allowing for safe testing of electrically conductive objects. It also allows for the detection of any abnormalities in the test equipment during actual measurements.
