Content modification and control possible through app with LTE-M module integration

KT announced the launch of 'GiGA IoT LED Display,' a narrowband IoT-based product that has undergone pilot installation and verification at 180 nationwide dealerships.

The 'GiGA IoT LED Display' is equipped with an LTE-M module on a high-quality LED display, allowing users to easily change and control advertising content anytime and anywhere through a smartphone app, which is its greatest feature. Additionally, the company provides content authoring services that enable customers to easily create desired advertisements, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.

The 'GiGA IoT LED Display' features a 41-inch large screen (972mm x 396mm x 79mm) with a brighter and more refreshing design compared to existing LED displays, and is manufactured to comply with outdoor advertising regulations.

The product uses high-definition LED while being supplied at a reasonable price of 60~70% compared to existing products. For consumers desiring larger screens, a 'Multi-Vision' function is provided that allows multiple displays to be connected and used as a single screen. Additionally, for franchise operators, a 'Franchise' function is provided that enables headquarters to control LED displays at all locations, enhancing satisfaction among diverse customers.

Kim Joon-keun, Head of KT GiGA IoT Business Division, stated, "KT has launched the GiGA IoT LED Display utilizing IoT technology possessed by KT," and added, "By providing innovative products at reasonable prices, we expect to contribute to the business success of small business owners, and we will showcase various products in the future."
