Moxa announced that its EDS-518E and EDS-G205 DIN-rail Ethernet switches have obtained marine certifications including DNV.GL, LR, ABS, and NKK and have been released worldwide.

With this certification, Moxa's products have been proven to possess the durability suitable for industrial use, and customers can utilize Moxa's switches in a variety of ways, including in marine applications.

By adding new features to its marine portfolio, Moxa has met the requirements of the marine industry, such as high bandwidth, port density, and cybersecurity. Moxa's EDS-G205-1GTXSFP all-port Gigabit unmanaged switch is an economical solution for applications requiring high bandwidth. The EDS-518E 14+4G-port Gigabit switch provides not only high bandwidth but also MAC address filtering, RADIUS authentication, and other enhanced security features referencing the IEC-62443 standard.
