ASUS Launches ROG Gladius II Origin
Published2018.02.12 10:47Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced the official launch of the ROG Gladius II Origin, the third model in the popular Gladius gaming mouse series.

The ROG Gladius II Origin is a mouse that provides a gaming environment for gamers based on an ergonomic design and the use of Omron switches, offering enhanced convenience by enabling quick DPI changes. While maintaining the ergonomic design of previous Glaidus series models, the repositioning of the DPI button provides a satisfying grip, and the ability to instantly adjust DPI in real-time to suit the situation on the battlefield allows for ease of click control. Additionally, side rubber panels featuring a Mayan pattern are mounted on both sides of the mouse.

This product uses the Pixart PMW3360 sensor to support fast and accurate tracking with 12,000 DPI, 250 IPS, and 50g. In addition, it adopts a push-fit switch socket design that allows users to easily change switches to match the click resistance and feedback preferred by gamers, enabling the replacement of worn or damaged switches and extending the lifespan of the mouse.
The ROG Gladius II Origin is equipped with Omron switches and offers two additional Omron switches with different click resistances. Furthermore, various click functions can be easily controlled using separate left and right mouse button combinations, and instant and fast scrolling is possible with the Alps scroll wheel encoder.
In addition, ASUS Aura Sync support and six default customizable lighting effects allow gamers to customize the colors and lighting to their liking, and enable RGB lighting synchronization across all other Aura Sync-supported products. Furthermore, the intuitive ROG Armory software allows users to adjust lighting, buttons, and other performance settings, as well as map button programming and track hardware statistics for game analysis.

This product features a detachable cable design for convenient portability and includes two types of USB cables and an ROG pouch. It can be used in other locations via an additional cable without the need to disconnect the main cable from the computer, and gamers can carry the mouse in a pouch.
