ASUS Officially Supports AMD's 'Raven Ridge' Processor

ASUS announced that it officially supports AMD's new processors, the Raven Ridge 'RYZEN 5 2400G' and 'RYZEN 3 2200G'.
The 'RYZEN 5 2400G' and 'RYZEN 3 2200G' are APU series that combine the architecture of AMD's GPU 'VEGA' with the existing ZEN architecture-based RYZEN processors, providing improved clock speeds and integrated graphics performance compared to the previous generation.
In addition, Raven Ridge does not require a new motherboard socket or chipset and can be used with existing AM4 motherboards. However, it is essential to install a BIOS that supports the new processor before installing and using it.
To this end, ASUS is distributing a new BIOS to utilize the new processor. This new BIOS is available for all AM4 socket-based X370, B350, and A320 chipset motherboards and can be downloaded from the ASUS website.
With this support, you can not only see improvements in the processor's inherent performance but also verify graphics performance through the integrated graphics core, and you can install and use AMD's new processors simply by updating the BIOS without replacing the motherboard.
In addition, for products with the new BIOS applied, a sticker reading 'AMD RYZEN DESKTOP 2000 READY' is attached to the top of the product box, so you can use AMD Ryzen Raven Ridge processors without the need for a separate BIOS update.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems.
