April 16, 2012 - Bridgelux Inc. (CEO: Kim Jong-soon), a global developer of LED lighting technology and solutions, announced the expansion of its Decor™ line of ultra-high color rendering index (CRI) LED arrays, a popular product in the industry. To meet the growing demand for high-efficiency, high-quality lighting based on LED technology in retail, retail, architectural, hotel and museum lighting markets, Bridgelux has expanded its highly successful Decor97 CRI product series, which was launched in October 2011. To address the growing need for high-quality lighting applications, Bridgelux is introducing a wider range of light sources that provide operating lumens from 500 to 5000 at color temperatures of 2700, 3000 and 3500K, as well as the more efficient Decor products. By also offering standard products with a minimum of 80 and a minimum of 90 CRI, the Decor series is expected to further expand the lighting options available to lighting designers.
Offering a 3-stage MacAdam Ellipse color option, Decor arrays allow lighting designers to accurately render a full palette of colors across a wide range of light levels to achieve stunning, sophisticated lighting effects. The Decor series is designed to replicate the light quality of halogen and incandescent lighting with a wide spectrum. These arrays deliver clean, natural lighting, enhancing reds and providing R9 and R15 values of 98 for accurate reproduction of a wide range of skin tones.
BAERO North America, Inc. “Bridgelux is excited to introduce the higher lumen output Decor range, significantly expanding our ARONDO LED luminaire line,” said David Rice, Vice President of BAERO. “Designed specifically for supermarket lighting, BAERO’s ARONDO LED fixtures now offer 10 different light engine options for premium presentations, three of which utilize our high CRI Decor arrays of 97. Fixtures built with Decor deliver lumens ranging from 1,936 to 3,304 while delivering unparalleled color fidelity. This has enabled BAERO to gain significant market share in the supermarket lighting market as they transition from legacy lighting technologies to highly efficient solid state lighting. The support, quality and performance we have received from Bridgelux have all been outstanding in our decision to develop the ARONDO LED.”
DecorArray is available in the same form factor as Bridgelux’s current array products, allowing customers to easily upgrade while minimizing design effort.
Bridgelux will present its latest products at the Light+Building exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, from April 15-20.
