Samsung Electronics has applied 'Hybrid Heat Pump' technology to its 14kg drying capacity, reducing drying time and electricity costs.

Samsung’s 14kg large-capacity dryer is characterized by a significantly expanded 207L drying drum compared to the 115L drying drum of the existing 9kg model, actively reflecting consumer complaints that it is difficult to dry large laundry items at once because the dryer capacity is smaller than the washing machine.

With this, you can easily dry large amounts of laundry as well as thick winter blankets all at once.

In addition, this product features newly applied 'hybrid heat pump' technology, which upgrades the existing inverter low-temperature dehumidification method to the next level.

'Hybrid heat pump' is Samsung Electronics' unique differentiated technology that can quickly and perfectly dry large loads of laundry by first reaching the optimal temperature with a heater and then drying with an inverter heat pump.

With this technology, the drying process can be completed in 59 minutes in speed mode, and concerns about the drying time being prolonged due to external temperatures, especially in cold winter weather, can be resolved.

In addition, using Eco mode costs only 164 won in electricity per drying cycle, reducing the economic burden on consumers.

In addition to this, this product sterilizes 99.99% of various harmful bacteria in the daily life and removes 100% of house dust mites without water or detergent.The 'air sterilization' function is applied, allowing for hygienic management of clothing, bedding, and more.

In addition, a heat exchanger with a structure that allows for direct cleaning has been applied, and a washable filter that can be cleaned simply with water has been added to ensure long-term use without performance degradation.

Meanwhile, IoT functions have also been further enhanced, allowing for smart product management through the 'SmartThings' app with features such as 'Drying Recipe,' which recommends drying courses based on fabric type, color, and soiling level; 'Drying Planner,' which allows setting a desired end time; and 'Home Care Manager,' which automatically diagnoses the dryer's status and usage history 24 hours a day.
