Exhibition of innovative air conditioning solutions including the wind-free full lineup of large-capacity outdoor units, the 'DVM S Series'

Samsung Electronics will be participating in the ACREX India 2018, an international air conditioning exhibition attended by over 600 major air conditioning companies from 30 countries around the world, and will be showcasing a number of innovative air conditioning solutions, including the ‘Wind-Free Air Conditioner.’

Samsung Electronics is releasing a full lineup of wind-free air conditioners, including the 'Wind-Free 1Way, 4Way Cassette (Ceiling-mounted Indoor Unit)' and 'System Air Conditioner 360', which have expanded the 'Wind-Free Cooling' technology, which does not directly affect the wind, to commercial areas with high electricity usage, in the Indian market.

The 'Wind-Free 4-Way Cassette', which will be launched in the Indian market in the first half of this year, has a larger blade size and swing angle than existing products, allowing the wind to be sent further, quickly cooling even large spaces. Additionally, energy efficiency is maximized through the Motion Detect Sensor (MDS), which detects the location of a person and changes the wind direction and driving mode.

Samsung Electronics is also launching the '30HP DVM Series' of large-capacity system air conditioner outdoor units, including the 'DVM S 30HP (horsepower)' model, which is specialized for cooling in the Indian market where demand for cooling-only system air conditioners is rapidly increasing due to record-breaking heat waves every year.

This series is characterized by the ability to achieve a large capacity of 30 HP with a single outdoor unit, which allows for significant reduction in installation area and cost.

Samsung Electronics' large-capacity system air conditioner outdoor unit '30HP DVM S Series' has also received favorable reviews for its air-cooled 'DVM S 30HP' and water-cooled 'DVM S Water 30HP' models that can simultaneously cool and heat and cool the heat exchanger using outside air, in addition to the cooling-only models.

These products feature 'Flash Injection' technology, a high-efficiency refrigerant injection method that mixes and compresses liquid and gas refrigerants, resulting in enhanced heating performance.

Samsung Electronics is recording a series of large-scale orders from major Indian public institutions and large commercial districts with products specialized for the Indian market.

Late last year, the entire outdoor unit in the NIBR commercial complex near Mumbai Airport in India was dedicated to cooling, 'DVM S We signed a supply contract to replace the '30HP' with a 'System Air Conditioner 360' and supplied it to the Indian Mint.

Also, Munjal University in Gurgaon near Delhi was supplied with water-cooled 'DVM S Water' which maintains high efficiency regardless of the outside temperature.
