FLIR Launches Premium Portable HD Thermal Imaging Camera T1010
Published2018.02.28 10:07FLIR Systems Korea announced that it is adding the new entry-level product T1010 to the FLIR T1K series, a family of HD (high-definition) thermal imaging cameras.
The T1010 model features an affordable price point as the entry-level model of the T1K series and upgraded software designed to provide more intuitive and improved responsiveness. The firmware upgrade is being extended to all FLIR T1K models.
The T1010 incorporates all the features of FLIR's flagship portable thermal imaging camera, the T1K series. By utilizing the T1010, which offers HD resolution, a high-precision HDIR lens, FLIR's proprietary image processing solutions, and a user-friendly ergonomic design, users can identify problems faster, grasp precise temperature and detailed information, and perform their work more easily.
The T1010 is the most affordable model in the professional T1K camera lineup. The new product is equipped with a 1024x768 (786,432 pixel) HD detector and can generate images of up to 3.1 megapixels using FLIR's proprietary UltraMax image enhancement technology. Additionally, like other T1K series products, it utilizes a high-performance OSX Precision HDIR lens specifically developed for the HD detector to further enhance clarity and measurement accuracy. The T1010 camera features the compact yet strong design characteristic of the T1K series and a 120° rotating optical block, allowing for comfortable measurement even when the object is located at an angle that is difficult to access.
Along with the launch of the T1010, FLIR announced that it is upgrading the firmware for all products in the T1K series. This upgrade provides a new graphical user interface (GUI) that makes the T1K camera as fast and versatile as a smartphone. In addition, the upgrade includes new features such as a one-touch Level/Span function to enhance image contrast and customizable work folder settings for report work. The newly released T1010 camera will ship pre-installed with this latest firmware.
Rickard Lindvall, General Manager of the Measurement Equipment Division at FLIR, stated, “The FLIR T1K series is already an industry-leading product, but this interface upgrade will take it a step further.” He explained, “Through this firmware upgrade, FLIR has implemented the fast responsiveness and user-friendliness of smartphones and tablet PCs into the T1K series to help a diverse range of users, including new T1K series customers, handle this thermal imaging camera more familiarly. We have also enhanced convenience by adding frequently requested on-screen tool features, such as one-touch level/span that allows users to correct the contrast of target images by touching the screen.”

FLIR Launches Thermal Imaging Camera Supporting Electrical Engineering and HVAC Fields
플리어시스템 코리아는 전기 기술자와 냉난방공조(HVAC/R) 분야 전문가의 전기 성능 시험 및 측정 작업을 위해 열화상 기능을 지원하는 디지털 멀티미터와 클램프미터 신제품 3종을 출시한다고 밝혔다. FLIR DM166과 FLIR DM285 디지털 멀티미터와 FLIR CM275 클램프미터는 모두 플리어 렙톤(Lepton) 마이크로 열화상 카메라를 기반으로 하는 플리어 적외선 측정(infrared guided measurement, IGM) 기술을 탑재하고 있다. 이로써 건물의 전기와 관련한 이상 상태를 열화상을 통해 작업자가 직접 눈으로 확인할 수 있도록 하는 게 특징이다. HVAC/R 전문가에게 열화상 기술은 매우 중요한 솔루션을 제공한다. 실제로 HVAC/R 기사와 건물 성능 관련 전문가들은 건물 및 건축 과정에서의 잠재적인 문제들을 찾기 위해 지난 수십년 동안 열화상 기술을 사용해왔다. 이들에게 과도한 열은 종종 전기적 결함을 나타내는 지표가 되기도 한다.
