Signing of a business agreement to support IoT small and medium-sized enterprises

LG Uplus held a 'Business Agreement Signing Ceremony for Supporting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Internet of Things' with the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) to create business opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector.

This business agreement aims to develop NB-IoT products based on international standards with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and to support testing centers and specialized personnel to enable reliable verification of these products, thereby enhancing the global competitiveness of SME products.

Through this agreement, LG U+'s partner SMEs will be able to easily conduct IoT testing and verification based on international standards by receiving development support testing services from the 'Global IoT Testing and Certification Center' operated by TTA once the development of NB-IoT terminals is completed.

Additionally, the Global IoT Testing and Certification Center will provide technical consulting services from NB-IoT testing and certification experts to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) shorten the time it takes to resolve issues that arise during the verification process.

In addition, LG U+ plans to support not only development verification but also commercialization of products by small and medium-sized enterprises by providing NB-IoT commercialization technology know-how and marketing support.

Accordingly, domestic small and medium-sized enterprises with excellent IoT technology will be able to reduce commercialization costs by eliminating the need for verification personnel and separate testing environments, and are expected to achieve future global business expansion based on domestic references for NB-IoT terminals developed to international standards.
