FLIR Systems Korea announced the launch of the FLIR E53, the latest model in the Exx-series of advanced thermal imaging cameras developed for electrical, mechanical, and building completion inspections.

The E53, the entry-level model of the Exx-Series portable thermal imaging camera, offers the same level of image clarity, measurement accuracy, and powerful features as other Exx-Series cameras at an affordable price point. For service professionals and contractors who need to identify building vulnerabilities or defects before they escalate into larger problems, the launch of the E53 is expected to be a great opportunity to utilize advanced thermal imaging technology at a cost-effective price.

The FLIR E53 displays clear thermal images from any angle via a 4-inch touchscreen that provides a wide 160° field of view. Unlike other Exx-series products, the E53 offers enhanced FLIR MSX technology by utilizing a 5-megapixel visible light camera for improved clarity, perspective, and readability. Additionally, the 240x180 resolution detector supports over 43,000 temperature measurement points and a measurement temperature range of up to 650°C.

The E53 camera is durable and waterproof, allowing technicians and contractors to use it with confidence even in the harsh working environments they encounter daily. Its user-friendly interface provides intuitive and useful features, such as a one-touch Level/Span function that enhances target image contrast with just a touch of the screen. By utilizing Wi-Fi functionality, METERLiNK connectivity, and customizable work folder settings, you can easily handle the storage of measurement results and the processing of result reports.
