LG U+ announced that it will be building an AI apartment IoT system and supplying AI speakers to its "Jiwon The View" apartments and officetels, built by Jiwon Construction. This system will enable voice-based control of home networks and IoT devices, as well as automatic startup of all devices.

The apartment complex in question has a voice recognition-based AI speaker linked to the artificial intelligence IoT platform built within each household, allowing users to use ▲home network systems such as heating and cooling, lighting/gas control, unmanned delivery, energy usage check, and parking control ▲individually purchased IoT appliances such as air conditioners, robot vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, rice cookers, and humidifiers ▲and even LG U+ home IoT services such as plugs, power strips, blinds, and air quality sensors with just voice commands.

You can also automatically run all IoT devices in your home by entering conditions for each situation, time, and user. For example, if you say “I’m going out,” it will turn off all the lights and gas in the house and simultaneously switch the boiler to away mode.



LG U+ plans to supply AI speakers along with the establishment of an artificial intelligence apartment IoT system for 372 units of Jiwon The View City officetel in Choryang Station, Busan, which is scheduled to be sold by Jiwon Construction in April, as well as 288 units of Jiwon The View Park mixed-use apartment complex in Seomyeon, Busan, and approximately 3,000 units of Jiwon The View Apartments.

LG U+ is currently expanding its home IoT infrastructure in the housing construction market by signing business agreements with approximately 60 construction partners based on differentiated services such as AI speakers and IoT wall pads.
