Exhibition of IoT Technology Solutions for the Gas Industry at SETEC

LG Uplus announced that it will exhibit IoT services at the 'Seoul International Gas & FC Industry Exhibition' held at the Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention Center (SETEC) in Gangnam, Seoul, from Wednesday, the 21st to Friday, the 23rd.

The Seoul International Gas & FC Industry Exhibition is a specialized exhibition for new technologies related to gas and FC (fuel cells). LG Uplus is the only mobile carrier to operate an exclusive booth to allow companies and customers, who would normally find it difficult to access various services and solutions applying IoT technology to the gas industry, to experience them.

In particular, LG Uplus is expected to attract the attention of visitors at this event by showcasing IoT services and solutions that allow for remote monitoring of everything from the condition of the pipeline network required for the gas supply stage to the status of gas storage tanks and the gas usage of customers, all at a glance.

LG Uplus, which built a nationwide NB-IoT dedicated network and launched commercial services last July, is introducing six types of services in the fields of mobile IoT and industrial IoT, as well as NB-IoT communication modules and communication boards, at its exclusive booth located in Hall 3 of the Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention Center.

At the Mobile IoT booth, the company will showcase a 'Smart Pipeline Network Remote Management' solution capable of remotely monitoring the corrosion status of gas pipelines and detecting gas leaks or flooding within valve chambers, as well as a 'Small LPG Storage Tank Remote Management' solution capable of identifying gas leaks and remaining gas levels in small LPG storage tanks.

In addition, they will exhibit a 'smart gas meter' capable of remotely managing household city gas usage, meter status information, and historical data.

At the Industrial IoT booth, ▲ 'Gas Measurement Monitoring' that measures and remotely monitors hazardous gases at workplaces ▲ 'IoT Motor Diagnosis' solution that diagnoses motor conditions in real-time based on motor-related big data algorithms to provide advance warnings of failures ▲ a solution with enhanced security where only authorized terminals can access the client's internal server Introducing the 'LTE dedicated network'.
