Providing vivid immersion in Switzerland with '3D Cinema LED'

Samsung Electronics installed a '3D Cinema LED' screen at Arena Cinema, a commercial theater equipped with the '3D Cinema Screen,' and held an opening ceremony. At the event, the '3D Cinema Screen' was showcased to local media representatives through a preview of the 3D movie 'Pacific Rim: Uprising'.
Arena Cinema is a famous Swiss movie chain with 50 screens across 6 cinemas and is known as a company that is active in introducing new theater solutions, such as being the first in Switzerland to introduce 4DX theaters and laser projectors.
The '3D Cinema LED' supplied this time measures 10.3 meters in width and 5.4 meters in height, supports 4K (4096x2160) resolution and HDR video, and can screen 2D and 3D movies simultaneously.
The 'Samsung 3D Cinema LED' screen does not degrade brightness or image quality compared to conventional screens when showing 3D movies, providing viewers with an immersive experience, and offers an excellent viewing angle, allowing for a 3D viewing experience from any position, not just the center seats.
In addition, it has obtained 'DCI' certification, the digital cinema standard, and has been recognized as a screen optimized for Hollywood movie screenings. It also features Harman's JBL audio system, allowing viewers to experience realistic sound from any position in the theater.
"Now, people in Europe can also experience 'Samsung Cinema LED' screens that are differentiated from conventional projectors," said Kim Seok-ki, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business Division. "The newly introduced '3D Cinema LED' theater will be the best choice for watching 3D movies."
