ASUS said its 13cm-sized TS10 model, inspired by a fountain pen, is playing a major role in implementing smart factories.

Smart factories typically utilize sensors installed within the manufacturing site to collect data, which is then analyzed in real time by a central processing unit to improve efficiency or reduce defect rates. Furthermore, to reflect consumer needs, smart factories are striving to implement small-batch, multi-variety production and customization.

The logistics and production management system developed by ERP company Online Bada uses the ASUS Stick PC TS10 model. Each product's production process uses automatic sensors to determine whether it's normal or defective, and the data is collected by a central computer. Managers at each production stage monitor the process wirelessly, sending and receiving signals via ASUS Stick PCs. This allows them to view the relevant production process at a glance and take immediate action.



Product defects, such as dust and exposure to external factors, are also issues that ERP suppliers must address. However, the Stick PC TS10 model offers one-year warranty, and the Mini PC UN45H-VM214Z model offers three years of warranty.

The quiet fan design produces just 26.5 dB of noise even at full load, a mere 60% of that of competing products.
