Schneider Electric Participates in 'Automation World 2018' with Integrated Management System

Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, this exhibition is the largest domestic event specializing in smart factories and automatic control, and will be held at COEX in Seoul from March 28 to 30.
Schneider Electric Software showcased various solutions for building smart factories that can envision the future of manufacturing. Along with the System Platform, an integrated industrial software management system, it introduced technologies for cloud computing, big data analytics, surveillance, and mobile monitoring. In addition, Schneider Electric also participated in the exhibition, displaying the assembly sector, one of the five major process operations.
Schneider Electric Software's 'System Platform Powered by Wonderware' is the world's only scalable, responsive platform for surveillance, SCADA, HMI, and IIoT applications. Based on collaboration and standards, it enables the integration of people, processes, and assets across all facilities to support continuous operational improvement and real-time decision-making. Through this event, you can directly experience the system platform for strengthening manufacturing competitiveness at the demo booth.
In particular, as part of this event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on mutual cooperation regarding membership participation was signed with the Public-Private Joint Smart Factory Promotion Team on the 28th. A total of 13 companies, including Schneider Electric, held the signing ceremony attended by Park Jin-woo, Head of the Smart Factory Promotion Team, Song Byung-hoon, Center Director, and others. Park Tae-sang, Vice President of Software Asia Pacific at Schneider Electric, attended as a representative and shared the vision for smart manufacturing innovation.
Vice President Park Tae-sang stated, “The ‘2018 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition’ is an opportunity to introduce the leadership of Schneider Electric software necessary for building smart factories in preparation for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is a venue where visitors can experience Schneider Electric software’s product line, which can be applied across various industries to improve safety and productivity, and discover the vision for building smart factories.”
Meanwhile, Schneider Electric Software is taking a new leap forward by acquiring Schneider Electric’s industrial software and the UK-listed industrial software company AVEVA, changing its name to 'AVEVA,' and establishing itself as a leading global specialist in engineering and industrial software.

슈나이더, 스마트 인버터 제품 기반으로 IIoT 시장 강화
슈나이더 일렉트릭이 안전성과 연결성이 강화된 인버터 제품을 기반으로 산업용 사물인터넷(IIoT) 시장 강화에 나선다. 스마트 인버터 제품군 중 ‘알티바 프로세스(Altivar Process)’와 '알티바 머신 ATV320(Altivar Machine ATV320)'을 주력할 예정이다. 국내 제조업 시장에서도 4차 산업혁명 대비 디지털 전환을 추구를 위해 활발한 움직임이 일어나고 있다. 이를 위해서는 IIoT 기술을 통한 디지털 혁신이 가장 기본적으로 요구된다. 슈나이더 일렉트릭은 사물인터넷을 접목하여 효율적인 에너지 관리와 공정 최적화를 위한 통합 아키텍처이자 플랫폼인 에코스트럭처(EcoStruxure)를 선보였다. 에코스트럭처는 하드웨어 부분인 상호 통신이 가능한 커텍티드 제품 외에 하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 연결해 주는 엣지 컨트롤과 서비스와 소프트웨어를 연결한 앱 및 분석, 서비스의 총 3개 레이어로 구성됐다.

Ecolab and K-water Discuss Innovation Collaboration in Advanced Industry Water Management
Ecolab and the Korea Water Resources Corporation jointly discussed cooperation directions for maximizing water use efficiency in advanced industries such as semiconductors and data centers and establishing sustainable water circulation.
