Premiere of 'EcoStruxure,' an Integrated Architecture Supporting the Internet of Things

Schneider held the '2018 Innovation Summit Paris' at the Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France.

This event brought together approximately 5,000 business leaders and experts from various fields. Starting in Sydney, this year's Innovation Summit World Tour will take place in over 20 countries worldwide, including Paris, Seoul, and Singapore.

Schneider Electric Chairman Jean-Pascal Tricoire opened the event under the theme "Powering the Digital Economy." In his keynote speech, broadcast live on Facebook and CNBC, he emphasized, "Connectivity has enabled the diffusion of knowledge and the digitalization of all sectors, and innovation and transformation of the digital economy are taking place."



At the event, Schneider Electric unveiled EcoStruxure Premier, an integrated architecture and platform supporting the Internet of Things (IoT). Three main pillars formed the core, and the company announced 'EcoStruxure Power,' a next-generation IoT-based power distribution architecture with significantly enhanced power management capabilities, and 'EcoStruxure Building,' which focuses on improving efficiency and productivity. Finally, a new version of the equipment monitoring and service application introduced 'EcoStruxure Asset Advisor,' a cloud-based 24-hour predictive service necessary for the business continuity of data center assets.

In addition, six strategic lectures were held on topics such as "Redefining Power Distribution," "Intuitive Manufacturing Innovation Through Digitalization," and "Rebuilt Buildings" for digital economy innovation. More than 15 in-depth analysis sessions were also conducted in parallel, delivering specific customer cases and solutions while engaging in discussions among participants.

In addition, a 5,000m² 'Innovation Hub' was established to deliver Schneider Electric's software, solutions, and services. A Partner Village was also set up for networking not only with Schneider Electric's technology partners but also with startup companies. Side events included an Open Innovation Challenge, Data Science, and a Hackathon, with participation from students and startups.
