Element 14 announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Nordic Semiconductor, a market leader in the world's best wireless products.

As consumer demand for freedom and flexibility intensifies and the wireless capabilities and portability of electronic products become increasingly enhanced, Nordic Semiconductor is expected to play a key role in realizing such a future through its ultra-low power (UJP) wireless chips that can operate for extended periods regardless of power supply.

Following the recent merger of Element 14 as a subsidiary of Avnet, the new franchise agreement between Element 14 and Nordic Semiconductor is expected to further strengthen the close relationship that both companies have maintained since 2001. Element 14 and Avnet can support customers using Nordic Semiconductor products throughout the entire product development process, from the conceptual stage to actual design and mass production.
