Excellent efficiency and fairness without separate network control equipment

KT announced the launch of 'GiGA secure wizNAC', a cloud-based network access control service that can easily and inexpensively strengthen the internal security of small and medium-sized businesses.

Giga Secure Wiznack is a network access control (NAC) service that utilizes KT's artificial intelligence security platform, the 'GiGA secure platform', and provides it in a cloud-based manner (SECaaS: Security as a Service) without separate network control equipment.

Unlike other NAC solutions that require separate equipment for each network domain, it is cost-effective and convenient to manage because there is no separate equipment, and it is optimized for network access control of all IP terminals, including PCs, CCTVs, and Internet of Things (IoT) terminals. It is suitable for small and medium-sized businesses that lack security experts, as it does not require facility construction, operation personnel, or maintenance.

Additionally, it can be used as a two-in-one solution for strengthening the security of a company's internal network and attendance management by blocking the internal network or powering off PCs outside of designated working hours through hourly/day-of-the-week control, thereby encouraging compliance with working hours.

Giga Secure Wiznack is available in "Simple" and "Prime" plans, priced at ₩2,000 per month for Simple and ₩3,000 per month for Prime (excluding VAT) per device, respectively. (See attached for detailed pricing information.)

Simple provides basic network access control functions such as network access control of unauthorized terminals and network access restrictions by period/group/terminal type, while Prime provides various functions to protect and manage corporate IT assets such as internal security management services and management of essential/authorized/unauthorized software in addition to the functions of the Simple product. The existing build-type NAC solution is provided under the product name ‘Enterprise’.

KT's Song Jae-ho, head of the Integrated Security Business Unit, said, "Based on the Giga Secure platform, we will continue to launch information security services that even small and medium-sized corporate customers can easily and conveniently use, leading to market expansion."
