Schneider Electric will host 'Innovation Summit Seoul 2018' at the Yongsan Dragon City Hotel in Seoul from May 29th to 30th.

This summit aims to explore response strategies amid the wave of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where digital technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) are rapidly spreading across all industries. It also aims to share innovative cases and present successful business models to customers. The latest version of EcoStruxure, Schneider Electric's integrated architecture platform that will drive the future of energy and automation, will also be unveiled.

This event will begin with keynote speeches by Kyung-Rok Kim, CEO of Schneider Electric Korea, and Luc Rémont, Vice President of Schneider Electric, and will introduce the latest technological trends and changes in the industrial landscape in the fields of energy and industrial automation through the convergence of information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) under the theme of 'Powering and Digitizing the Economy.'

This will be followed by strategic lectures and panel discussions featuring industry experts, introducing key market trends from diverse perspectives. Analysts from global data consulting firm IDC will present "Future Scape: The Trends and Prospects of Global Digital Transformation," exploring the changing landscape and vision of the global market. Industry leaders and experts, including Song Byeong-hun, Director of the Public-Private Joint Smart Factory Promotion Team, Jang Hong-seong, Director of SK Telecom's Technology Research Institute, Choi Yoon-seok, Executive Director of Microsoft, and Choi Jun-gyun, Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at KAIST, will also participate in a panel discussion session to discuss in-depth business strategies under the topic of 'Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) - The Future of IT and OT Convergence.'

Additionally, approximately 20 in-depth sessions will be held, featuring specific case studies and solutions from Schneider Electric experts and customers. These sessions will focus on topics such as "EcoStruxure Building," which introduces smart building system implementation and case studies; "EcoStruxure IT," which focuses on building and operating efficient data centers; "EcoStruxure Machine," which expands the potential of industrial applications such as augmented reality and smart machines; and "EcoStruxure Plant," which focuses on digital asset management and safety.

Kim Myeong-il, Managing Director of Hana Kiyeon, a Schneider Electric customer, will introduce trends in smart building design standards under the topic of 'Building Energy Saving Design Methods', and will also reveal numerous success stories established by Schneider Electric through global customer cases of HVAC technology application and smart machines.

Additionally, you can experience firsthand demonstrations of new products and solutions featuring the latest technologies at Schneider Electric's Innovation Hub. This exhibition space will showcase Schneider Electric's augmented reality and virtual reality solutions, EcoStruxure Augmented Operator and EcoStruxure VR, as well as over 40 demo booths showcasing Foxboro DCS, Triconex, Tricon CX, and other products related to process automation and process safety, allowing visitors to experience Schneider Electric's latest solutions.
