Products unveiled, including immersive monitors and laptops with fast data processing speeds

LG Electronics is participating in the '2018 PlayXpo' game exhibition, which will be held at KINTEX in Ilsan for four days starting from the 10th.

LG Electronics is showcasing a variety of products, including six gaming monitors that provide an exciting gaming environment, six HDR monitors, and LG gaming laptops.

The flagship monitor product, the 34-inch (86.6cm) 'LG UltraWide Nano IPS Monitor (Model Name: 34GK950G)', features a 21:9 aspect ratio and WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) resolution. This product incorporates NVIDIA's 'G-Sync™' technology. 'G-Sync' minimizes stuttering or tearing even on complex and fast-paced scenes displayed on the monitor.

LG Electronics has applied a 'Nano IPS' panel to this product. Nanometer-sized fine molecules eliminate inaccurate colors. For instance, it absorbs yellow and orange tones that mix in when displaying red, showing an accurate red. Creators using this monitor can reproduce their desired colors exactly as they intend. Users can enjoy games rendered in colors close to the original creator's intent. The color gamut is also outstanding. It satisfies 98% of the DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives)-P3 color standard used in film production.

This product features a 21:9 aspect ratio, enhancing immersion by displaying the edges of the screen that were not visible on conventional 16:9 monitors. Users can enjoy games that support the 21:9 aspect ratio, such as 'League of Legends', 'Battlefield', and 'World of Warcraft', with greater excitement. LG Electronics has held the number one position in the 21:9 aspect ratio monitor market for five consecutive years, from 2013 to 2017.

The 15.6-inch (39.6cm) 'LG Gaming Laptop (Model Name: 15G870)' features the Intel i7-7700HQ processor, offering fast data processing speeds. It also includes an NVIDIA GTX-1060 graphics card, allowing it to render even games with complex screen compositions well.

It features 8GB of DDR4 memory, which is over 30% faster than existing DDR3, enabling the smooth execution of high-resolution games. It is equipped with a 256GB Solid State Drive (SSD) and supports up to 512GB. It can also be fitted with a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) of up to 1TB. It is also equipped with USB Type-C, HDMI, and MiniDP ports capable of transmitting 4K video.
