Governance solution applicable to all cloud platforms

Nutanix has announced 'Nutanix Beam,' a SaaS solution for the multi-cloud era. Nutanix Beam is a governance solution applicable to almost any cloud platform, enabling enterprises to integrate their public, private, and distributed cloud environments to manage cloud usage, regulatory compliance, and security.

Nutanix Veeam, unveiled at Nutanix’s annual conference NEXT 2018 held in New Orleans, USA, from May 8 to 10, is Nutanix’s first SaaS solution. It is a solution that fully embodies Nutanix’s vision of integrating private, public, and distributed clouds into an end-to-end infrastructure IT operations model through Enterprise Cloud OS software, and resolving the complexities of multi-cloud architectures. Nutanix Veeam is designed based on the services of Minjar Vormetric, which Nutanix recently acquired. Minjar Vormetric is a company that already manages over $1 billion worth of AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

Nutanix Beam helps resolve complexity by providing customers with deep visibility and rich analytics capabilities, enabling them to gain a detailed understanding of public cloud usage. Furthermore, by providing one-click recommendations based on machine intelligence, it enables IT departments to rapidly optimize cloud usage, strengthen security, and improve compliance across all cloud environments. By gaining an integrated perspective on the entire public cloud, unexpected costs and potential security issues can be prevented before business challenges arise. Ultimately, Nutanix Beam supports enterprises in making better decisions when operating multi-cloud architectures.
