Ansys Korea to Host '2018 Ansys Convergence Conference' on the 24th
Published2018.05.15 15:18Ansys Korea announced that it will hold the '2018 Ansys Convergence Conference' for customers and industry stakeholders on the 24th.
The '2018 Ansys Convergence Conference' will introduce rapidly changing simulation technology trends and various success stories in engineering simulation. In addition, the latest technologies by industry sector will be shared through expert sessions across five tracks: structural, fluid, electrical/electronic, and semiconductor.
The conference consisted of 30 sessions, starting with a welcome address by Ansys Korea CEO Yong-Won Cho and including keynote speeches by Pohang University of Science and Technology President Do-Yeon Kim and Ansys Asia Sales Executive Vice President Richard Kitts. There is also a session prepared where you can experience the recently released real-time 3D design and simulation solution, 'Ansys Discovery Live', firsthand.
In particular, the keynote speeches will feature ▲Pohang University of Science and Technology President Kim Do-yeon speaking on 'Cooperation and Consideration: Designing a Happy Future' and ▲Richard Kitts, Executive Vice President of Sales for Asia at Ansys, speaking on the topic of 'Innovation Through Simulation'.

Ansys Develops Flight Control System Code to be Installed on 'Embraer Aircraft'
ANSYS announced that it has developed embedded software for aircraft development and simulation, as well as embedded code that can control the basic flight control system, which will be installed in the 'Embraer E190-E2 aircraft,' Brazil's largest airline. The 'Embraer E190-E2 aircraft' equipped with ANSYS software is the most efficient single-aisle aircraft, with 17.3% higher fuel efficiency compared to the E190, the current mainstream generation. ANSYS Acquires Optis to Provide Simulation Solutions for Autonomous Vehicle Sensor Development
앤시스(ANSYS)는 빛, 인간의 시각 등 물리 기반의 시각화 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어 공급업체인 옵티스(OPTIS)의 인수를 최종 완료했다고 밝혔다. 앤시스는 이번 옵티스 인수로 광학 센서와 폐 루프(closed-loop) 시뮬레이션 플랫폼을 자사의 다중물리(Multiphysics) 포트폴리오에 추가함으로써 자율주행 차량의 안정성과 신뢰성을 검증하는 포괄적인 자율주행 차량 센서 개발 시뮬레이션용 솔루션을 공급하게 됐다. 또한, 앤시스의 솔루션에 라이더, 카메라 및 레이더를 포함한 모든 센서의 시뮬레이션을 비롯해 물리 및 전자 부품의 다중물리 시뮬레이션, 시스템 안전성 분석, 안전성이 인증된 임베디드 소프트웨어의 개발로 더욱 확장된 포트폴리오를 구축했다.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
