Protect from threats that existing security solutions failed to detect

Nutanix has announced 'Nutanix Flow,' a Software-defined Networking (SDN) solution targeting the multi-cloud era. As an application-centric security solution, Nutanix Flow effectively protects applications from internal and external threats that traditional parameter-based security solutions failed to detect.

Nutanix Flow is easy to deploy as it is fully integrated into Nutanix Acropolis software. In particular, it offers excellent real-time visibility and detection capabilities for applications, enhanced by the technology of NetSil, which Nutanix recently acquired. Nutanix Flow automatically creates and manages application security, making it easy and convenient to use.

Nutanix Flow supports microsegmentation to protect modern applications characterized by independent yet interconnected services. It manages communication between application services through application-centric policies.

Nutanix plans to simplify the definition of security policies for applications running in public and private clouds by adding NetSeal's advanced stream processing methods, application detection technology, and mapping technology in the future. This enables not only the company's IT department but also business personnel to safely protect business applications from all internal and external threats.
