Mouser Electronics supplies Texas Instruments (TI)'s 4-channel 1GSPS ADS54J64 analog-to-digital converter (ADC).

The ADS54J64 ADC is a 14-bit product that offers a high signal-to-noise ratio, wide bandwidth, and an output sampling rate of up to 500 MSPS. Suitable for various applications such as communication receivers and microwave receivers, it supports a high-speed JESD204B serial data interface, simplifying processor connectivity and providing a maximum data transfer rate of 10 Gbps using a single line per channel.

TI's ADS54J64 ADC, supplied by Mouser, utilizes an analog input buffer to provide uniform impedance across a wide frequency range. As a low-power 2.5W product, it offers excellent SFDR (Spurious Dynamic Range) across a wide input frequency range. The digital signal processing block supports a bandwidth of up to 200 MHz, uses a complex mixer, and employs optional low-pass filters that decimate into 2 and 4. The ADS54J64 ADC also supports multi-chip synchronization.

TI's ADS54J64 ADC is suitable for a wide range of devices, including multi-carrier GSM base stations, telecommunications receivers, radar and antenna arrays, communications inspection equipment, microwave receivers, and digitizers. It can also be used in medical applications, such as diagnostic and medical imaging equipment.
