Today, digital transformation, currently underway across all industries, is accelerating thanks to various technologies such as AI, IoT, blockchain, and cloud computing. However, at the same time, these new business opportunities are spreading cyber attack threats even more rapidly, and the types of attacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated and diversified. This is why security transformation must proceed alongside digital transformation.
This event will serve as a platform to share the evolving cybersecurity environment and the latest technology trends with experts from the domestic and international security industries, and to present concrete solutions for implementing Security Transformation (SX). In particular, the event will demonstrate attack methods involving exploits for vulnerabilities in Apache Struts—the web application platform that was the cause of the 2017 Equifax hacking incident—and the penetration process of cryptocurrency cryptojacking, while exploring the most effective countermeasures against the latest cyber attacks. Additionally, a panel discussion on security measures in cloud environments and corporate case studies are scheduled to be presented.

Fortinet Partners with Interpol to Combat Cybersecurity Threats
포티넷이 인터폴과 위협 정보 공유를 위한 협약을 체결했다. 이번 협약의 목표는 포티넷의 포티가드 랩의 글로벌 위협 연구팀이 도출한 위협 정보를 인터폴과 공유함으로써 전세계적으로 사이버 범죄 및 개인정보보호 위협에 적극적으로 대처하기 위한 것이다. 향후 포티넷과 인터폴은 양측의 브리핑에 참여하게 된다. 포티넷의 위협 정보 전문가들은 인터폴 글로벌 혁신 센터의 전문가들과 협업하여 현재 위협 요소에 대한 이해도를 높이고 인터폴 팀과 법 집행 기관이 위협 정보를 활용할 수 있도록 지원한다.

Urgent measures are needed to address Korea's security capabilities, which are ranked among the lowest in the Asia-Pacific region.
Cisco announced the "Cisco 2018 Asia-Pacific Security Capabilities Benchmark Report" on the 6th, targeting security experts. According to the report, only 30% of all threat alerts targeting domestic companies were investigated, revealing that strengthening overall security capabilities throughout the country is urgent. As cyber attack targets in the Asia-Pacific region, including Korea, have expanded to the operational technology sector, this report was released along with key recommendations for security personnel.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.

Kaspersky Unveils Revamped 'NEXT' Combining SOC Integrated Management and AI Analytics
기업들이 보안관제센터(SOC) 구축과 운영에서 통합 관리와 자동화 수요를 키우는 가운데, 카스퍼스키가 자사 B2B 보안 제품군 ‘카스퍼스키 넥스트’의 개편 내용을 공개했다. 이번 업데이트는 OSMP 기반 단일 콘솔로 EPP·EDR·XDR·SIEM 연계를 넓히고, DLL 하이재킹 탐지와 계정 탈취 의심 행위 식별 같은 AI 기능, 생성형 AI 보조도구 KIRA 연동을 담았다. 회사는 대규모 배포 환경에서 EDR Expert는 최대 30%, XDR Expert는 최대 60%까지 자원 요구량을 낮출 수 있다고 밝혔다.
