Schneider Electric launched the new medium-voltage protection relay 'Easergy P3' at the 'Innovation Summit Singapore 2018' on the 28th.

The E-Jergy P3 is equipped with state-of-the-art protection features along with the latest digital communication capabilities. It is designed to save power restoration time by tripping circuit breakers when a fault is detected. Switchgear manufacturers and system configurers can easily install and integrate the product, reducing the time spent on every stage of a project, including product selection, installation, and configuration.

In particular, it is characterized by digital setting tools that can enhance operational efficiency. This software tool is easy for non-experts to use and provides 'eSetup Easergy Pro,' which features smart functions such as a Virtual Simulation Test. Through an embedded web configuration, this software allows product settings to be changed without separate software in environments with internet access.

This product also supports mobile applications. With the 'Easergy Smart App,' operation and maintenance can be performed simply and safely without directly manipulating the circuit breaker, and the 'mySchneider App' allows 'Easergy P3' data to be securely stored in a cloud-based database, enabling access to the stored data throughout the installed lifespan.

In addition, we also provide high-quality, stable, and easy-to-use one-box solutions. By utilizing proven protection and control functions, the arc protection function is built into a single protection relay to enhance equipment safety, and based on over 100 years of accumulated experience and superior quality, it can be applied to a wide range of fields.

In addition, it complies with the international standard IEC 61850 and is interoperable with the latest communication protocols and standards, including the PRP (Parallel Redundancy Protocol) architecture.

The EZ P3 is part of Schneider Electric’s IoT-based integrated architecture platform, EcoStruxure, and is a product in the Connected Products of EcoStruxure Power’s Edge Control portfolio for buildings, industries, and critical infrastructure.
