Plan to establish an optimal response system to be introduced

Insec Security, together with Maestro Networks, will host the 'Cyber Attack and Malware Response Technology Seminar' on Friday, December 14 at the Insec Security Doksan Education Center in Doksan-dong, Seoul, for corporate security managers to introduce ransomware and malware detection, analysis, and response measures for the entire corporate infrastructure.

With attack patterns becoming increasingly sophisticated, such as recent ransomware attacks targeting file sharing servers and cloud storage, security professionals worldwide are busy devising countermeasures against ransomware and malware. Accordingly, Insec Security and Maestro Networks are hosting a seminar for domestic corporate security managers to demonstrate a method for automatically detecting, analyzing, and responding to ransomware and malware attacks in real time.

This seminar introduces six response technologies to counter the latest malware: 1. Multi-antivirus scan engine, 2. Malware analysis sandbox, 3. Data sanitization and file neutralization (CDR), 4. Cyber threat intelligence, 5. Machine learning, and 6. Solutions applying artificial intelligence. In addition, we introduce the Maestro Malware Forensic product family, which performs malware hunting functions to detect and analyze malware for Windows, Android, and Linux operating systems.
Insec Security and Maestro Networks plan to introduce the 'Maestro Cyber Threat Intelligence Platform,' an integrated malware quarantine that can verify the safety of files entering a company in real time, along with specific response models based on their experience in responding to domestic and international cyber security incidents, and methods for building an optimal response system proposed by cyber security expert consultants.

Insec Security and Maestro demonstrate real-world security threat scenarios to explore the best ways to defend against various security threats originating from the outside or originating from within, as well as strategies to minimize the resulting loss or damage to internal assets. In addition, plans are also underway to discuss measures to prevent recurrence that can be used to proactively respond to similar types of cyberterror attacks or security incidents.

The 'Maestro Cyber Threat Intelligence Platform (CTIP)' is an integrated intelligent security intelligence platform capable of detecting, analyzing, and blocking malware by utilizing correlation analysis and machine learning, as well as analyzing various files, IPs, domains, URLs, and emails flowing into enterprises and systems. Maestro CTIP was specifically developed to interconnect with various endpoint, network, email, and web security solutions deployed within the enterprise to rapidly identify threats—such as the latest ransomware, Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attack codes, and malware—and to execute corresponding countermeasures.

Maestro CTIP supports interoperability with network point and endpoint security solutions such as Symantec, Cisco, AhnLab, F5 Networks, Carbon Black, FireEye, and Palo Alto Networks during the file inflow stage, and with various security solutions such as Opswat MetaDefender, Joe Sandbox, Domain Tools, and Recorded Future during the file verification stage.

The Cyber Attack and Security Threat Response Technology Seminar will be held on December 14 from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Room 409, Daeryung Techno Town 18th, 19 Gasan Digital 1-ro, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul.
