Establishment of Climate Integrated Solution Testing Lab in Busan
Emerson Provides Cutting-Edge Solutions to the HVAC Industry

Emerson announced on the 27th that it has established the 'Climate Integrated Solutions Laboratory' in Busan, the first of its kind in Korea, where customers in Korea and Northeast Asia can conduct various experiments and verifications to improve product energy efficiency and optimize performance.
The newly established research institute is expected to enable customers to experience technological innovation by allowing for various tests using state-of-the-art facilities.

The Climate Integrated Solutions Laboratory, designed to meet market demands for commercial and residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration systems, is a facility capable of conducting HVAC/R-related inspections ranging from temperature control tests to volume expansion, refrigerant flow rates, and subcooling measurements. Therefore, it will serve as a hub where domestic and international customers can communicate with Emerson experts regarding solutions in a single space.

The Climate Integrated Solution Test Room consists of a load test room with a maximum capacity of 20 RT (refrigeration ton) and a humidity test room with a maximum capacity of 10 RT, allowing for testing of the refrigeration capacity, power consumption, and airflow of heating, cooling, and refrigeration products under various simulated environments. In addition, the nation's first semi-explosion-proof inspection system, boasting high stability, has been established, enabling more sophisticated and comprehensive integrated inspections with stability.

The test laboratory is equipped with facilities to test a variety of products, including refrigerating condensing units (CDUs), air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, precision air conditioning units, air conditioners, air-source and water-source heat-pump water heaters, and geothermal heat pumps.
