Naver, VMware Collaborate on Cloud Business “Strengthening Enterprise and Public Market Conquest”

NBP (NAVER Business Platform) and VMware Korea announced on the 16th that they signed a strategic business partnership agreement on the 15th and will advance into the enterprise and public cloud markets.

To this end, NBP and VMware launched the VMware on Ncloud product, which combines VMware solutions and Naver Cloud Platform’s infrastructure technology, on the 27th of last month.
VMware on Ncloud provides a cloud service that is compatible with VMware-based on-premise environments, allowing for easy transition to a hybrid cloud, and provides higher security than private clouds by applying Naver's advanced security technology.
Most domestic enterprise companies have already adopted or are considering hybrid cloud, but VMware solution-based work is still maintained on-premise.
With this agreement, the two companies will enable enterprise companies and public institutions that were using existing VMware solutions on-premises to conveniently expand their data centers to the cloud or move VMware-based work to the cloud.We plan to provide full-scale support so that the transition can take place.
“Through close collaboration with NBP, we will support hybrid cloud to become a catalyst for strengthening the future digital competitiveness of enterprises and public institutions,” said Jeon In-ho, President of VMware Korea.
NBP Cloud Business Division Director Kim Tae-chang expressed confidence, saying, “This will be the optimal solution for companies and public institutions that are considering cost-effective and secure hybrid cloud implementation.”

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
