Mouser Electronics announced on the 28th that it is supplying Texas Instruments (TI)'s power module TPSM846C24.
The 35A module TPSM846C24 protects the circuit from overcurrent and is designed for use in small PCI/PCIe, broadband, PoL (Point of Load), and medical equipment.

The TPSM846C24 supplied by Mouser Electronics is a fixed-frequency, 35A maximum output step-down power module that integrates a controller, power MOSFETs, inductors, and other components into a single surface-mount package with improved thermal performance. The module's operating parameters can be set using only input/output capacitors and a few passive components.

Engineers can implement a two-phase power solution by configuring two modules to operate in parallel with current sharing up to 70A. The TPSM846C24 operates over a junction temperature range of -40 to 125°C and takes up only 15 × 16 mm, allowing for easy soldering onto a PCB. Its compact size enables load point design.

The TPSM846C24 is supported by the TPSM846C24EVM-006 and TPSM846C24EVM-007 evaluation modules. Both evaluation modules provide test points and jumpers, allowing for easy evaluation of the TPSM846C24. The TPSM846C24EVM-006 contains one TPSM846C24, whereas the TPSM846C24EVM-007 contains two TPSM846C24s that operate in parallel, providing a maximum output current of 70A.
