On the 25th, Samsung SDS entered into a strategic alliance with VMware and decided to jointly develop digital work environment innovation projects.
VMware is leading the innovation of the digital work environment with its Workspace ONE solution, which enables the secure and flexible management of various mobile devices.

Digital work environment innovation improves work efficiency by enabling companies to perform tasks anytime, anywhere using PCs and mobile devices through the use of IT technologies such as cloud computing and virtualization.

Samsung SDS plans to strengthen its business competitiveness by combining its solution for integrated management of PCs and mobile devices with VMware's Workspace One, and jointly identify business opportunities for innovating clients' digital work environments.

Samsung SDS and VMware plan to initially target the U.S. public, financial, healthcare, and retail markets and expand to other countries in the future.

The two companies agreed to share solutions and global technology trends, while also expanding their partnership to include new technology fields such as cloud, blockchain, and 5G.

Samsung SDS CEO Hong Won-pyo stated, “This agreement further strengthens our cooperative relationship with VMware,” adding, “By combining the capabilities of both companies, we will actively identify new solution-based business opportunities and strengthen our entry into the global market.”
