Samsung Electronics Officially Launches Galaxy S10 Worldwide

Samsung Electronics announced on the 8th that it is officially launching the 'Galaxy S10', which incorporates the latest innovative technologies of smartphones, worldwide.

The 'Galaxy S10', launching on the 8th, is available in over 70 countries worldwide, including Korea, the United States, Canada, India, China, across Europe (such as the UK and France), and across Southeast Asia (such as Singapore and Vietnam). It is scheduled to expand to approximately 130 countries by the end of March.
The Galaxy S10 is characterized by the inclusion of the latest innovative technologies, such as a Dynamic AMOLED display, new camera technology, enhanced intelligent features, and wireless battery sharing.
Samsung Electronics held Galaxy S10 launch events for local media and partners in India and Indonesia on the 6th, and plans to hold a large-scale launch event in Vietnam on the 9th attended by approximately 50,000 consumers.
In Korea, the 'Galaxy Fan Party' to celebrate the launch of the S10 with Galaxy fans is being held in five cities nationwide starting February 28.

SK텔레콤이 갤럭시 S10의 출시와 함께 1.2Gbps LTE 서비스를 제공한다고 밝혔다. 이는 국제전기통신연합에서 정의한 LTE 최대속도인 1Gbps를 웃돈다. SK텔레콤은 2018년 2월에 1Gbps LTE 시대를 개막한데 이어 또 한 번 LTE 속도를 끌어올렸다. 1.2Gbps 속도는 HD급 2GB 영화 한 편을 13초 만에 다운로드 할 수 있는 정도다. 2011년 초기 LTE 속도에 비해 16배 이상 빨라진 속도다. SK텔레콤은 갤럭시 S10 출시와 함께 서울, 부산, 울산, 광주, 대전 등 5개 도시의 트래픽 밀집 지역에서 최고 1.15Gbps 서비스를 시작한다.
