Samsung Electronics announced on the 1st that it will release its first 5G smartphone, the 'Galaxy S10 5G', in Korea on the 5th.
The Galaxy S10 5G supports 5G mobile communications, featuring transmission speeds up to 20 times faster than existing LTE, ultra-low latency, and hyper-connectivity, allowing users to download a variety of multimedia content faster. Users can also enjoy video calls in crisp 4K quality.

The Galaxy S10 5G, equipped with the 6.7-inch Infinity-O Display, the largest screen in the Galaxy S series, allows you to freely watch high-spec games as well as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) content.

The Galaxy S10 5G has a total of six cameras, including a front dual camera and a rear quad camera. In particular, it provides a 'live focus video' that adds a bokeh effect to the video in real time by applying a '3D depth camera' that utilizes infrared technology for the first time at Samsung Electronics on the rear, as well as a simple measurement function that measures the length of objects based on AR.

The Galaxy S10 5G, equipped with 8GB of RAM as standard, has a large-capacity 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.

The Galaxy S10 5G comes in two models: 256GB and 512GB. The 256GB model is available in three colors: Crown Silver, Majestic Black, and Royal Gold, and is priced at 1,397,000 won. The 512GB model is available in two colors: Crown Silver and Majestic Black, and is priced at 1,556,500 won.

To celebrate the launch of the Galaxy S10 5G, Samsung Electronics is offering various benefits to customers who purchase it.

Customers who open a Galaxy S10 5G account from the 5th to the 16th will be offered one of the following benefits: in-ear wireless earphones 'Galaxy Buds', a wireless charging package consisting of a wireless charging duo, a wireless charging battery pack, and a 5G logo case, or a 90,000 won purchase coupon for the smartwatch 'Galaxy Watch Active'. In addition, a 50% on-site discount service for display damage replacement costs once a year and a Lineage M special item will be provided.

Samsung Electronics also offers special partnership services that allow users to enjoy 5G mobile communications in a realistic way with various content. Customers who purchase the Galaxy S10 5G and apply by June 30th will be provided with a 3-month free trial of 'Hatch Premium', which allows them to enjoy over 100 games without having to download them to their smartphone, and a 6-month free trial of 'CameraFi LIVE All-in-One', which supports real-time 4K broadcast streaming.

CameraFi Live All-in-One provides specialized features for Galaxy S10 5G users, such as real-time live streaming in UHD quality, multiple shots that automatically recognize people and support the effect of using multiple cameras, and 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera live broadcasting.

Samsung Electronics is holding an event where customers who purchase the Galaxy S10 5G will be compensated up to twice the used purchase price when they return their existing smartphone.

The Galaxy S10 5G will be released as a model that allows consumers to select and install only the applications they want while receiving the same benefits as existing carrier models, such as public subsidies. It is also released as a self-sufficient model.

The Galaxy S10 5G can be purchased from Samsung Electronics' website, digital plazas nationwide, and online and offline stores of each mobile carrier.
