Schneider Electric announced on the 18th that it will jointly participate in the 'World IT Show 2019 (WIS) 2019' with KM-POWER.

Hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, this exhibition is an international exhibition that leads the next-generation cutting-edge ICT industry. This year, the theme is 'Smart Innovation' and it was prepared to contribute to the nation's sustainable growth by activating R&D in the ICT field and to expand the business of participating companies.

The exhibition will be held at COEX in Seoul for four days from April 24th to 27th, and is expected to attract approximately 50,000 visitors.

Schneider Electric will set up a joint booth with KM Power in Hall A on the first floor of COEX. Schneider Electric and KMPOWER, as specialized partners in uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and data center infrastructure, have maintained a win-win partnership for mutual growth.

The two companies have been jointly setting up booths since 2016, and this year, they will showcase innovative products for the digital transformation era under the theme of ‘Smart Innovation and Smart Connect.’ They will showcase core power and IT infrastructure products for small and medium-sized data centers, which are the strengths of both companies and are emerging as hot topics around the world.

In particular, we will focus on introducing Micro Data Center. This is a local edge computing solution based on edge computing, which is a global trend and IoT technology that enables real-time response to large amounts of data and overcomes network bandwidth limitations.

This is a small data center that has been pre-assembled and tested to include essential data center infrastructure such as power, cooling, security, remote monitoring, and infrastructure management, and can be utilized with Schneider Electric's architecture platform, 'EcoStruxure for Datacenter.'

Additionally, it also presents IT infrastructure optimized for micro data centers. Meet the UPS for small and medium-sized businesses and retailers, along with the 'Smart Bunker' series, which is suitable for cloud edge computing environments and includes a robust exterior and integrated cooling, power distribution, UPS, battery, and environmental monitoring.

The company also introduces the 'Smart-UPS', which includes intelligent and efficient power protection functions including voltage level change and Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) functions, and the 'Easy UPS', which features an intuitive display interface for easy configuration and monitoring.

In addition, 'EcoStruxure IT', an application of 'EcoStruxure' and for data centers and IT professionals, is also introduced. It provides DMaaS (Datacenter Management as a Service) architecture for hybrid IT and data center environments, and provides end-to-end solutions in the fields of industry, infrastructure, data centers, and distributed IT. EcoStruxure IT provides modeling software required for co-location services along with monitoring software and remote monitoring services.
