| Keysight Hosts IoT Innovation Challenge
| Winner's Prize, $50,000 + $50,000 worth of Keysight Equipment
| IoT Design Ideas, Submit Online by the 15th

Keysight Technologies is holding the 'Keysight IoT Innovation Challenge' to solicit designs for low-power IoT innovation.

Students from around the world can participate in this competition individually or as a group, and winners and winning teams will receive prize money of up to $50,000, and their universities will receive Keysight test equipment worth $50,000.

The Earth in 2050 will change to a level that is difficult to even imagine.

Two-thirds of the world's population will live in cities and are expected to be exposed to harmful environments in their daily lives. Additionally, more than 5 billion people will suffer from water shortages.

Keysight is looking for the next generation of engineers who can come up with solutions, both large and small, to these challenges in this IoT Innovation Challenge. To win, we must find ways to use smart sensors to improve the quality of life in crowded cities, or to intelligently monitor water supply to secure clean water.

Christopher Cain, Vice President and General Manager of Keysight Technologies’ Electronics Industry Products business unit, said, “Finding the optimal balance between precise sensor performance, data collection, persistence, and scalability in electronic design is a very difficult task, and it is even more difficult when considering urban and underwater environments,” adding, “Continuously powering IoT sensors in these demanding environments requires innovations in dynamic power utilization and long battery life, which can make the future brighter for billions of people around the world.”

Students wishing to participate must submit low-power IoT design ideas online in the form of documents and videos by the 15th. Finalists are scheduled to be announced on June 26.
