Schneider Electric launched the high-voltage equipment protection relay 'Easergy P5' on May 30.

The Izerji P5 is a member of the PowerLogic master family, incorporating IoT-based digital capabilities and integrating various functions into a single device.

Meets the increasingly demanding needs of the power and energy industries with built-in arc flash protection and advanced cybersecurity.

Schneider Electric's digital protection relay, the Izergy P5, adopts a pull-out type hardware, making installation and replacement simple and minimizing downtime by shortening the replacement time, including setting and logic input, to less than 10 minutes.

It complies with the international communication standard IEC 61850 and supports eight communication protocols, including the latest PRP (Parallel Redundancy Protocol) architecture.

Among the three layers of EcoStruxure, the EZZERZ P5 relay belongs to the Connected Product layer and the AESZ P5 relay belongs to the App, Analytics & Services layer.Effective predictive maintenance of circuit breakers, the main equipment in distribution panels, is possible through Asset Advisor.

The temperature and humidity sensor connected to the IJERZ P5 measures environmental factors such as temperature and humidity of distribution panels and high-voltage equipment, and transmits the measured information to the cloud to identify and analyze environmental factors that may impede circuit breaker performance in real time, enabling preventive maintenance.

Asset Advisor allows operators to perform maintenance only when necessary, saving time and costs, providing high reliability and improved efficiency.

From the connected layer to the app & analytics and service layers, all data is safely protected under robust security, supporting stable operations from cyber threats, allowing you to experience the highest level of cybersecurity.

The EZZER P5 features digital setting tools to improve operational efficiency.

This software tool is easy to use even for non-experts and offers 'eSetup Easy Pro' software with smart features such as Virtual Simulation Test function.

This software has an embedded web configuration, allowing you to change product settings without separate software in an Internet-enabled environment.

EcoStruxure Power Build, an online configuration tool, allows you to easily select the type of protection relay and get quotes and orders online faster.

The EZZER P5 also supports mobile apps. The 'EcoStruxure Power Device App' allows for simple and safe operation and maintenance without having to directly operate the circuit breaker, and the 'mySchneider App' allows for real-time advice and technical support from Schneider Electric experts.
