21 lectures related to autonomous driving , connectivity , and electrification

The 'Automotive Innovation Day 2019' conference, the largest automotive future technology event in Korea, will be held on Wednesday, July 3 at The K Hotel in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.

The 7th AID Conference, hosted annually by Automotive Electronics (AE) magazine, is an event that shares the latest technologies and trends related to automotive megatrends such as autonomous driving, connectivity, electrification, and sharing with approximately 500 automotive engineers.

This year's conference will be held under the theme "The future car: Electric & Smart Mobility," featuring new sessions related to electrification, including e-mobility and emission-free sessions, in addition to existing sessions on autonomous driving, ADAS, digital cockpits, and cybersecurity, such as safety, security, and connected cars, as well as autonomous driving and AI.

Shin Yun-oh, Editor-in-Chief of AE, stated, “Electric vehicles have just entered a phase of rapid growth, but there is still much work to be done to perfect and optimize the technology. Furthermore, electric vehicles are not merely about the transition of powertrains; they are closely connected to and serve as a central theme that converges with other megatrends such as autonomous driving, connected cars, and new mobility.” "That is why this year's AID conference has added a new electrification session," he said.

A total of 21 lectures related to four automotive megatrends will be held at the conference.
Experts from STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, AVL Korea, altia, BlackBerry QNX, Microchip Technology, NXP Semiconductors, ROHM, Siemens Industry Software, Infineon Technologies, u-blox, Valens Semiconductor, Western Digital, elmos Semiconductor, Yokogawa Electric, Charzin, Sonnet.ai, and the E-Mobility IT Convergence Industry Association/E-Mobility Research Association will share relevant market and technology trends, as well as their know-how and solutions.
