3D scanners project lasers or white light onto an object to acquire shape information about the object and convert it into digital data. The data obtained in this way is useful in reverse engineering and quality control in various industries.

On the 25th, Creaform held a press conference and introduced two new industrial portable 3D scanners to the domestic market.

First, Creaform's 'HandySCAN BLACK' features improved optics, blue laser, and ergonomic design, ensuring portability and a fast measurement process.

This industrial portable 3D scanner can quickly measure a wide range of parts, regardless of size, material, or complex shape, anywhere.

The HandyScan Black uses high-performance optics and blue laser technology to deliver four times the resolution of its predecessor, the HandyScan 700, enabling detailed shape scanning. Unlike existing 3D scanners, even shiny objects can be scanned by simply attaching an anchor without having to apply separate powder.

With 11 blue laser cross lines, a wide measurement area, and a measurement speed of 1,300,000 measurements per second, you can go from scanning to creating a ready-to-use mesh file three times faster than previous models.

Based on the VDI/VDE 2634 part 3 standard and ISO 17025 certification, the HandyScan Black guarantees a spatial accuracy of up to 0.020 mm + 0.040 mm/m and can be used at all stages of the product development lifecycle.

Next, 'Go!SCAN SPARK' is a third-generation industrial Go!SCAN 3D portable scanner that can acquire 3D data of the measurement object regardless of location.

The GoScan Spark is equipped with four inline cameras for fast 3D scanning and color acquisition.

It can quickly scan any measurement object with a quick setup and produces high-resolution scan data including color through white light.

Generates ready-to-use mesh files with 99 white light scanning lines and a measurement speed of 1,500,000 measurements per second.

Meanwhile, Creaform's HandyScan Black and GoScan Spark have proven the effectiveness of their ergonomic design by winning the Red Dot Design Award 2019 in the product design category.
