Mouser Electronics announced today the availability of a free inventory management tool and new mobile app, Inventory Management, available for iOS and Android devices.

This free, easy-to-use, web-based inventory management system allows research institutions and individual customers around the world to easily manage and track their inventory of electronic components and related materials.

Inventory Management was developed with university-based customers in mind, but can be used by both organizations and businesses that need to manage small to medium-sized inventories. Customers can manage BIN information of parts using mobile app without desktop.

Mouser customers can access the new inventory management tool from any web browser at www.mouser.com/Inventory-Management, or they can do the same using the iOS or Android mobile app.

Inventory management allows you to easily manage part numbers and inventory levels, and also provides features such as generating inventory reports and importing current product inventory data from spreadsheets.

Organizations can track shared tools, such as scopes or soldering equipment, using Inventory Management's check-in/check-out feature. A simple online dashboard and quick, step-by-step setup wizard are also provided.

Customers using Inventory Management in their web browser can take advantage of advanced Mouser customization features that link listed products to Mouser part numbers.

With Mouser Customization, you can automatically synchronize product data such as manufacturer, description, and product life cycle, automatically import product images from Mouser.com, and recognize them on-site. You can also reorder products.
