New EcoStruxure Power with enhanced power management capabilities has been unveiled.

Schneider Electric launched the '3rd Generation EcoStruxure Power 3.0' on the 11th. The 3rd generation is also based on EcoStruxure's digital platform but enhances the safety and efficiency of power distribution.

Third-generation EcoStruxure Power enables early detection of abnormal temperature rises within the system. This reduces the risk of electrical fires and allows for a reduction or elimination of regular thermal imaging inspections, thereby enabling a reduction in Total Ownership Cost (TOC) of up to 60% over the entire lifecycle.

Optimized energy management capabilities are also an advantage. Schneider Electric's energy control software, 'Power Monitoring Expert,' is interoperable with AVEVA's industrial software, 'Wonderware,' through collaboration with AVEVA.

Users can not only access important data based on energy consumption activities but also perform comparative analysis of energy usage at each stage. Cybersecurity across the entire system has also been strengthened.

Philippe Delorme, Vice President of Energy Management at Schneider Electric, said regarding the third generation EcoStruxure Power, “It reflects customer needs for digital distribution and power systems,” adding, “We will continue to provide customers with a strong and complete digital ecosystem and insights.”

Meanwhile, EcoStruxure Power, first launched in 2016, is an IoT-enabled integrated architecture platform that enhances the operational efficiency and facilitates the digitalization of low- and high-voltage distribution systems. It enables customers' digital transformation while protecting personnel and assets, and provides the data necessary for regulatory compliance and maintenance, as well as maximizing operational efficiency and business continuity.
