Schneider Electric announced on the 4th that it has opened a remote cybersecurity monitoring center in Seoul.

The Remote Cyber Security Monitoring Center is one of Schneider Electric's key industrial safety and security solutions, and is scheduled to launch its official service after a pilot operation period until the end of this year.

The Schneider Electric remote cybersecurity monitoring center monitors traffic on the control network in real time and sends notification messages to customers whenever unauthorized equipment access, malware intrusion, or abnormal activity is detected.

The cybersecurity specialist team provides regular reports on cybersecurity response through diverse customer experiences and data analysis. The report includes relevant information and recommendations to enhance the client's cybersecurity environment.

Diego Areces, Head of Northeast Asia for Schneider Electric’s Process Control and Automation Business, emphasized, “Information is an asset that enhances customer value while providing the insights necessary to optimize plant operations,” adding that it is “a core asset that must be protected alongside customers’ existing key assets.”
