Schneider Electric announced on the 12th that it has implemented the 'EcoStruxue Asset Advisor' service at BASF's new substation in Beaumont, Texas.

The EcoStruxure Asset Advisor service evaluates and analyzes real-time data from key connected assets to prevent potential threats.

The BASF Beaumont plant serves as a key pillar of BASF's agricultural sector, and the new power distribution station supplies power throughout the plant's production process.

Schneider Electric provides BASF with customized advice and preventive information necessary to optimize maintenance strategies through service teams composed of power and distribution experts.

Through the EcoStruxure Asset Advisor service, BASF is monitoring the status of new substation facilities via a customer dashboard. The service measures and calculates over 100 variables to provide accurate state-based monitoring results.

Lee Perry, an electrical design engineer at BASF, said, “EcoStruxure Asset Advisor prevents failures and provides accurate data instantly. It is essentially data being converted into value.”
